Privacy Policy
1. Who We Are
The Celestial Path (celestialpath.in) is a Vedic astrology and numerology consultation and research practice operated under CELESTIAL PATH, based in National Capital Region (NCR), India. Throughout this policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to The Celestial Path.
2. Scope of This Policy
This policy covers information collected through celestialpath.in, including the Explorer, Seeker, and Mastery plans described on the site, and any consultation, chart request, or contact you initiate with us. It does not cover third-party sites we may link to.
3. Information We Collect
Contact and account details
- Name, email address, and phone number, when you request a reading, book a consultation, or contact us.
- Payment details when you purchase a paid plan or consultation — processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers ourselves.
Birth and chart details
To prepare a natal chart, numerology grid, or dasha/transit timeline, we need your date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth, and, for compatibility readings, the same details for a second person with their knowledge. This is sensitive personal information used solely to generate and explain your reading.
Usage and device data
Like most websites, we automatically collect limited technical data — browser type, device type, pages visited, and approximate location derived from IP address — to keep the site working properly and understand how it is used.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to run the site, and may use analytics cookies to understand traffic patterns. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To prepare and deliver your astrology or numerology reading.
- To communicate with you about a booking, request, or question.
- To process payments for paid plans or consultations.
- To improve the site and the clarity of our reports.
- To meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
We do not use your birth details or chart information for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.
5. How We Share Your Information
We share information only where necessary to run the service:
- With payment processors, to complete transactions.
- With email or scheduling tools we use to communicate with clients.
- With professional advisors (e.g., accountants) where required.
- With authorities, if required by law.
We do not share your birth chart data, readings, or personal details with advertisers or data brokers.
6. Data Retention
We keep chart data and consultation records for as long as needed to provide the service, to support any ongoing or repeat consultations, and to meet legal and accounting requirements. Where you ask us to delete your information and we have no legal obligation to retain it, we will do so within a reasonable time.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse, including restricting who can access client charts and records. No online system is completely secure, and we encourage you to contact us promptly if you believe your information has been compromised.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain uses of it.
- India: you may exercise rights available to you under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
- European Economic Area / UK: you may have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including access, correction, deletion, and data portability.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12.
9. International Visitors
We are based in India and welcome clients globally. If you contact us from outside India, your information will be processed in India, where data protection standards may differ from those in your home country.
10. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
11. Changes to This Policy
